By high school, Midoriya couldn't stand him anymore. Now, they're both in college, and their dislike for each other is even stronger. Despite their past, they find themselves spending more time together. Bakugou wants to make up for his past mistakes but is too proud to say sorry. Midoriya is still hurt but can't ignore his old friend. As they deal with their shared history and unspoken feelings, they start to see each other in a new light. Can they move past their old grudges and become friends again, or maybe even something more?

What if I told you, that not only Izuku but even Katsuki had feelings for one another? But how tragic is it when neither is aware of it... Izuku was always the type to take the moral high ground, no matter how morally grey his views got when in battle as a teenager. No matter how wrought with emotion and laden with selfishness, he knew to always do the right thing and never hurt others in his pursuit for a desired goal. No matter how desperate, it was always better to do the right thing. That's why perhaps it was a bit confusing to know that he had found himself in a bit of a love affair. He wasn't all too sure how he got himself in that predicament, he always thought of himself as a gentleman who was pure hearted, loyal and always spoke his mind but this contradicted everything he thought of himself; all of who he was. It had developed slowly, creeping up from behind the dark recess of his mind like a ghost until rearing its ugly head one day to become fully known to him. OR: when Izuku Midoriya gets his head out of his ass because he had a wet dream about his childhood friend and it confirmed that he, in fact, was not at all over his feelings for him and it was about damn time he did the right thing. ---- (not an infidelity fic but Izuku does realize his feelings DURING his relationship)

A story about two high school kids into adulthood. Katsuki accepted the fact he was gay a while ago. Coming out to his family, more or less going on about life not making a big deal out of it. He'd date any man but Izuku. Izuku midoryia was straight or so he told himself, not to mention his biggest rival. Izuku wouldn't mind dating Katsuki Bakugo, but due to the fact he was a man he "didn't see him that way". Soon enough they'd realize they would both be wrong.

Midoriya The first time I ever met him, I knew he was going to be a problem. A double minor penalty should have been my first clue, but it wasn't. It was after the game, when we shook hands. His red eyes looked me up and down before he said, "Nice face," after having cut me with his stick in the third period. When I squeezed his hand and said, "I wish I could say the same about yours," something shifted. The entire arena must have felt it because the next day, our newfound rivalry was posted across many sports journals. Bakugo Five years after we met, we're still at each other's throats. We don't talk much or mention each other when we don't play together, but there's a lot of trash-talking around the time that we play. As long as we don't take it too far, we usually don't get in trouble since our rivalry fills seats. It's rare we don't have a sold-out game, and it's even more rare that half of the jerseys don't say one of our names. When one of us gets interviewed, they always ask about the other person. I've gotten used to people associating our names together.
