When humans finished destroying their own home-drying up every river, deforesting every forest, and wiping out the Earth's main lung-the sky turned gray. The Sun forgot to rise, and the Moon hid in terror.
Suddenly, a rift opened in the exosphere. A light? A lightning bolt? No one knew what it was-until seven days later, they woke up and realized they were no longer in the same place.
It didn't take long for mankind to divide. Four great kingdoms emerged: North, South, East, and West-each ruled by kings and queens who believed they had been chosen by divine forces, though all of them ignored the true origin of that world.
Castles rose like wounds on the virgin land. Gold, power, and greed returned with renewed strength. History seemed to repeat itself: those with power wanted more, and those without either bowed down-or died.
Corrupted by ego, they continued to destroy, ignoring the lesson of the past.
But they were not the only inhabitants of the new world. The forests, the rivers, the seas, and the skies had ancient children-beings who existed before human time, and whose patience was not infinite.
