Klaus Mikaelson was a name that was well known. He was the first ever vampire-werewolf hybrid to exist, and one of the most feared villains to walk the Earth. In the 1900s he met his match, an immortal dark witch named Kiara Auclair, who was just as heartless and violent as him. Together they ruled over New Orleans for years, until Marcel Gerard and Ezra Zhang worked together with Klaus' abusive father Mikael, to send them running. They fled the city, and Klaus cut ties with Kiara as she'd become a liability. Over a century later and following Klaus' death, New Orleans was now ruled by his two daughters, Hope and Victoria Mikaelson. Despite their differing personalities and sometimes clashing opinions, they both took their job seriously in protecting their city, and managed to keep peace amongst the city's different factions, being vampires, werewolves, witches and humans. For years New Orleans remained peaceful, though things started to change as new faces entered the city, causing the Mikaelsons to make new friendships but also be faced with new challenges, obstacles and even more grief and loss. As things descend into chaos, it only worsens when Kiara decides to get revenge on her former husband and sets her sights on his daughters upon learning that he is dead, though she partners up with somebody who is equally, if not more, vengeful.
