Mafumahle Buthelezi trusts only what stays - the ocean, the sunrise, and the careful routines she's built to protect her heart. Every morning before the world awakes, she walks the same Cape Town shoreline, believing silence is safer than connection. Until she notices him. The quiet stranger who watches the horizon like he's trying to escape his own life. They don't exchange names. They don't share pasts. Just sunrises, soft conversations, and a comfort neither of them expected. They met in silence. They connected in truth. But the daylight might ruin what the dawn created. *** This is a book with Zulu main characters. There will be no translation of the language in the book either.

My full name is Zamantungwa Agnes Khumalo, don't mind my middle name, my dad's mother gave it to me before she passed I was told. Even if she was the sweetest grandmother in the area, the name though. Yoh guys! Lols One thing about me is that I am an accounting fanatic! To know about my background story, you have to read further... it was lovely meeting you. **** "MaKhumalo breathe please. Yes, just like that. Slowly does it", he kept rubbing my back in a soothing manner as he said this. We sat there while I tried to regain my senses, and him murmuring softly to me. The tears have seized now atleast. The tight grip he maintained with his other hand didn't go unnoticed. It was a reassurance-kind-of-grip, filled with care and concern. His heartbeat has gone back to normal now. Listening to it was slowly making me sleepy. "You can't sleep sitting on the floor like this, love. Come on let's go to bed", he tried making me get up but I shook my head slightly. He sighed, picked me up and carried me effortlessly to a bedroom. "Please don't leave me alone", I said with a dead grip on his hand. "But I'm just next door. Look I'll even leave the door open incase you need me. Uhm... you know what, let me get you some tea to help you sleep", he removed my hand with ease. "I'll be back just now, I promise MaKhumalo", he kissed my forehead before rushing out the door. I stayed alone for 5 seconds before I got up like I was stung, made my way to the room next to where I was. Took of my dress, got under the covers quickly, his scent filled my nose as I snuggled on his pillow. Before I knew it, it was lights out. What happened must have drained me more than I thought. #southafrican RANKINGS: [26.09.25 #3 convict] [10.07.25] #8 crazypeople [07.07.25] #2 convict [29.07.25] #1 convict

She's a woman who has it all; a thriving career, a stylish apartment, and a life meticulously planned. But for Keneilwe, love has always been complicated, messy, and... optional. Until one night at a club changes everything. A fleeting glance, a touch she can't forget, and a connection that defies distance. He's a man who commands attention without trying - a self-made entrepreneur from a legacy of wealth, with the power and presence of a lion. Singabakho has built his empire on steel, contracts, and determination, yet nothing prepared him for the pull he feels toward a woman he's barely met. Separated by cities, responsibilities, and life's relentless pace, they navigate a love that tests their patience, hearts, and resolve. Texts, stolen glances, and brief encounters are their only anchors, but the desire that binds them is impossible to ignore. As longing grows and hearts risk breaking, Keneilwe and Singabakho must decide: will distance be their enemy, or the fire that forges something unbreakable? A slow-burn South African romance where love roars across cities and hearts collide against all odds.
