A year and a half had passed since the bittersweet events of "Moonlight Drawn By Clouds" Lee Yeong had finally ascended the throne and had taken over as king and head of state of the beautiful kingdom of Joseon. He was slowly proving how great of a monarch he was and just how worthy he was to be able to uphold and balance his responsibilities as king and at the same time have time for his own family. After many tears, laughter, sacrifices and hurdles, the remaining characters finally start their lives for the perfect 'happily ever after'. It's already the year 1832... Joseon has a new generation of Royals. The kingdom is stronger than ever and it's citizens were finally free from the horror of rebels or coups. What matters now... is for our favorite characters to live their happy endings. This AU paints out a whole ending for the drama..... Perhaps this time, our remaining characters could finally get what the miracles they had long hoped for. After reading "Jo and Laurie" by Stohl and De La Cruz, I was unsatisfied. In this tale, I have taken some elements of their plotline and made it my own. This is how I would have wanted the re-telling to look like, a lot more relationship building, character building, and reality. I intend to give Jo and Laurie the "Hollywood ending" we all dream of, while still making the story feel real.

Maybe I am being too harsh but it's better to be angry at someone than to pine after them. Especially as the man in question is so blatantly unavailable, it's too agonising to endure. ________________________________________ What if Laurie read Jo's letter? Would it change everything? Or would nothing change at all? Heartbreak and conflict ensues under the March family household but the question remains true-What does the future hold for these two who are destined to be, yet torn apart by fate itself?
