I put the letter in the mail box and walked back towards the car. I wasn't expecting them to read it or answer me. I just needed to tell someone and get it off my chest. When I got in the car, my mom said, "You ready to go?" I nodded, not showing the fear that was inside of me. She dropped me off in the front of the school. I took a deep breath, not knowing what was coming. I put my headphones on and played "Help You Stand" by Anthem Lights; hoping that they would bring me peace for a little while.
