Crowley finds his secret conviction that the world was designed for his personal entertainment severely tested by the bloody boring fourteenth century. But what is he a demon for, if not to spice things up a bit? It's irrelevant that a certain angel is taking his orders seriously for once and embarking on a life of self-denial and doing good. That isn't the reason Crowley is bored, at all. And he certainly isn't acting up to get Aziraphale's attention because he's desperately in love or anything.

I forgive you. Aziraphale watched as Crowley walked out the door. He'd seen the demon walk out of the bookshop a million times, always knowing that he'd walk right back in the same door tomorrow. This time, the door closed with a stifling sense of irrevocability. This time, Crowley wasn't just walking out of his bookshop. This time, Crowley was walking out of his life. I forgive you. Foolish. Stupid. Cruel. Those hadn't been the words sitting at the tip of his tongue. Far from it. But it didn't matter. Those had been the words he spoke, and he couldn't take them back now. ~oOo~ Or, the one where Aziraphale realises he needs to ask Crowley's forgiveness this time. Meanwhile, Crowley is just trying to make the Bentley stop playing Taylor Swift.

A new angel is sent to monitor the humans and report back to Heaven as a replacement for Aziraphale. Despite pretending so well, and doing such a good job of fitting in with the humans for quite awhile now, she slips up, and reveals her identity when she senses such an immense amount of love in someone that she just can't believe it. "You are so loved!" She shouts at the person she feels this from, before running away stuck in her jealousy. This left Aziraphale to ponder why there was another angel on Earth, but he figures it out quickly. What he does have trouble with, is figuring out who in his 6,000 years could have loved him so much that it throws off an angel in disguise. Which is Crowley's cue to panic. Warning: they're both dumbasses. Also, lots of fluff. Aziraphale begins to question the Great Plan and its purpose on love. According to this, a demon and an angel aren't made for each other. When Crowley finally shows up at his bookshop and tries to confess his feelings for the angel, he breaks up. Leaving an angry demon and a very sad angel. Not knowing what they gonna do. Little do both of them know that these weren't exactly the commands from God herself...

Aziraphale stops by Crowley's apartment to find a rather . . . interesting letter. His findings create a chain reaction of wild events. Things he's only imagined in his most wistful dreams. Absolutely ungodly things. Beautiful things.

// SPOILERS FOR BOTH GOOD OMENS S1 AND S2 // Crowley's convinced it'll work this time. After 6,000 years of endless pining, he's just about done dancing around the Angel. Even though he'd tried before, it never really seemed to turn into anything. No matter how many times he had saved Aziraphale from certain doom... he'd never once heard the words "I love you". But today is the day Crowley is finally ready. Afterall, the pair had just witnessed Beelzebub and Gabriel's touching reunion - how could that not spark ideas in Crowley's mind? Then Aziraphale rushes into the bookshop, a huge, warm smile plastered on his face that makes the demon's heart melt. It reminds him why he's doing this. 'Right, here goes nothing.' // Or: Crowley and Aziraphale run away together :D I'M NOT OKAY AFTER S2 OKAY AND I DECIDE THAT THEY DESERVE A HAPPY ENDING TOGETHER!!!!
