His vampiric face.
"Fuck." He growls, untangling from me and turning his head away. "I'm sorry."
He begins to back away, standing up but I quickly reach for his arm. "Lyven." I whisper, my hands slipping under the sleeve of his shirt, feeling the muscles on his shoulders bare under my finger tips. "Don't be sorry." I reach for his face, pulling but he doesn't budge. "Look at me," I urge softly. "I want to see you."

I keep my eyes on his as I cup his face between my hands. "I'm not afraid of you, lyven." My voice is low, so low but he can hear it. "Never of you." I shake my head, brushing his cheek with my thumbs, watching as his vampiric face slowly begins to disappear.
His hand covers mine of his cheek, leaning into my touch. "You're not?" He whispers, normal lyven eyes back, his stiff back is now loose.
