Winds are changing. Mapleshade is disgraced. She has been exiled, lost her children, and rejected by her love. The Clans hate her. She has nowhere left to go, no one left to care about her - she can't even care for herself. In a near-death experience, she falls unconscious on WindClan territory - an accident that might just be her saving grace.

A new shadow hangs over the forest, and next to it a new prophecy. Raven, Scourge's granddaughter will have to find the forest warriors and follow the advice of the StarClan to rid the cats of the new danger. The destiny of the granddaughter of Scourge awaits.
