She's in a constant battle with her peers to stay at the 'top of the school food chain' as a popular girl. But everything starts to change when a new boy, Phillip befriends her.... Ariel is a professional swimmer. But, she's also a seventeen year old girl who is eager to get out of the pool and into the world. Now all she has to do is convince her father that its a good idea. She cuts off all her glistening midnight black hair and poses as a boy stepping into a strict camp that's bound to change her future. Rapunzle has been homeschooled all her life. She almost never gets to leave the house because of her protective mother. But finally she convinces her mom to let her go to public school and she is ready to face the world; specifically she wants to see the light show in the nearby town of Stardust. And when she convinces school bad boy Flinn Rider to take her there, she finds out what the outside world really is.... Those are just a few princess in this novel. All but Merida and Tina have been invited in this story because the author couldn't figure out a way to put them into modern times. I know you will enjoy this roller coaster of a ride, I hope it makes you laugh, cry and want to tell your friends! ;D

With a crazy best friend and an amazing headmistress and the promise that her dad will be home in less than a year, Taylor is perfectly content with her life, despite her slightly dysfunctional family. Due to a gold digger step mother and two air heads step sisters as 'family' Taylor finds herself thrown into a world of cameras, people and girls just like her step sisters. She has the chance to win Noah James' heart. One of her biggest inspirations since the very beginning. (Oh and gain a better reputation for her school, no thanks at all to her stupid step sisters) Noah James, is a mysterious, brooding 'bad boy'. (Again, come on media, can you become any more stereotypical?!) Noah James is someone so much more dangerous, yet powerful and unattainable than any old singer and actor. Yet there is so much more to someone's life than what is seen on the screens.

It started out as a game. She's everything a girl wants to be. He's everything a girl wants. As head cheerleader and quarterback, Kody Taylor and Austin Collins would normally be expected to be together with them being the schools Mr. and Ms. Perfect. Lucky for all the single boys and girls in their school, it'll never happen. They hate each other and they aren't afraid to show it. Not like it'll ruin their reputations anyway. If anything, it makes it better beacause people seem to enjoy the show. Will things change when they have to work together to keep their positions as head cheerleader and football captain? All their lives, everything between them has been just a competition. A challenge. A game. But what happens when it isn't just a game anymore?

For years, Violet was known as the Ice Princess - until a terrible accident at Nationals not only brought an end to her figure skating career, but also transformed her into a rebellious, reckless, and rude teenager. Violet swore she would never set foot in an ice rink again, but that changes when she wrecks her mother's car and is forced to get a job at the Ice Palace - owned by her former skating coach. Add in a handful of obnoxious hockey boys, a cute team captain, another shot at Nationals, and juggling identities - well, Violet's standing on thin ice. ***disclaimer- super unedited. Will go back and fix all things eventually (grammar, plot holes, skating errors, etc*** © January 2014 by dysfunctional_flower. All rights reserved.

Practice Makes Perfect. Everyone at Hundred Oaks High knows that career mentoring day is a joke. So when Maya Henry said she wanted to be a rock star, she never imagined she’d get to shadow *the* Jesse Scott, Nashville’s teen idol. But spending the day with Jesse is far from a dream come true. He’s as gorgeous as his music, but seeing all that he’s accomplished is just a reminder of everything Maya’s lost: her trust, her boyfriend, their band, and any chance to play the music she craves. Not to mention that Jesse’s pushy and opinionated. He made it on his own, and he thinks Maya’s playing back up to other people’s dreams. Does she have what it takes to follow her heart—and go solo? Note from Miranda: For years, fans have been asking me to write a sequel to Catching Jordan. I do not want to interrupt Jordan and Henry's happiness by causing them drama in a second book, so I decided to feature Sam Henry's little sister in a book. It comes out on July 15, 2015. This is just a sample of the book, but I plan to post more excerpts as the release date draws near. Hope you enjoy this excerpt!

"Watch where you’re going nerd!" Someone said knocking me down, while sending my books flying. I let out a sigh as I crouched down, collecting my books from the floor. Once I got up I saw the person who called me nerd a few seconds ago was standing in front of me wearing a smug expression. "What's wrong nerd? Cat got your tongue?" I looked around the hallway, noticing that we’ve drawn a crowd. "What are you mute?" I rolled my eyes as I began to walk away, only to be pulled back and slammed against the lockers. I heard a few gasps coming from our audience. He seemed like a jerk, and judging by what he had just done, I was right. However, he was extremely good looking I had to give him that, with dark brown hair seemed sticking out in all directions and dark brown eyes. "Listen nerd, I don't know who you think you are but no one walks away from me when I talk to them. Got it?" He hissed at me. I let out a chuckle. This guy was unbelievable. "You don't own me, so I suggest you let go of me before I do something that you will regret." I said in a bored tone. His brown eyes narrowed at me, as he let out what seems to be a forced out laugh. "Oh, so the nerd does talk." I heard a few people snickering as he let go of my arm. "I am going to let you go, nerd. But, trust me this isn't over." He whispered into my ear. * Alice "Ali" Montclair has a secret she's the daughter of the man who runs the country- The President.
