Os dois tem todas as matérias juntos e só se separam quando Percy ter treino da equipe de natação (da qual é capitão) e Annabeth tem, ao mesmo tempo, o treino com a equipe do time da Decathlon. Mas a história não é sobre o último ano da escola do casal, mas sim sobre as vezes que deuses, outros semideuses, sátiros, centauro, ciclope e oráculo apareceram na escola e assustaram os mortais. E, é claro, talvez até mesmo a vez que eles mesmos assustaram os colegas.
