Issei actually speaks up regarding his hesitation to confess during one particular event after the graduation party. This story will be different than my usual ones because it will focus on his mental and emotional well-being.

What if Issei wasn't nearly what people portrayed him to be or assumed him to be? What if there was a much deeper person behind those amber pools that have grown so dull? Would you reach out and try to help a boy so dejected that he can't look you in the eye? A common place thought yet something often overlooked. Issei won't be dense in the slightest, I plan to write him as emotionally tactful and intelligent if not more then a little broken. Sorry not sorry. One small difference within' this story. The purge of the Nekomata/Nekoshou hasn't happened and won't happen in this story. This will be a good mix of Feels, fluff and some lighter moments as our favorite boy gets what he deserves the most in life, A chance to actually be happy. I don't have it in me to go full dark and gritty with this one. Unsure if I'll take this the whole vast harem route, Koneko/Kuroka/Artemis are the main girls Period.
