Izuku Midoriya committed suicide - well at least attempted to. Being pushed over the edge by his childhood best friend turned bully - Katsuki Bakugo. He thought he died, but finds himself in a state of limbo, a place between life and death. He encounters a masked man, and makes a decision that will change the world forever.

An eye for an eye and the world goes blind. That was Izuku's favourite quote. All his old classmates never found out why. All of them but one. Bakugo soon found out very well why Izuku liked repeating that phrase.

Izuku Midoriya dies jumping off a rooftop in Musutafu. He wakes up in a morgue. Learning about the sins of the past he climbs up the food chain in his quest to become the ultimate hero.

Though he knew the truth, he knew why there were always heros around when he went outside, people were afraid of him and his power, and he couldn't blame them. He would be scared too if a child had the amount of power he had. He was awoken one night by the sound of his window opening and someone entering, before he could jolt up or scream a gun barrel was put to his head. Behind it he could see eyes, eyes of a hero, eyes of someone who didn't want to be there. Just before he was sure he was about to be killed, she put her barrel away and collapsed to the ground in tears.
