She continued to stare at him, her jaw dropping slightly. "Are you really suggesting that we date?" "Not date," He shook his head quickly and corrected her, "Fake date." "What on earth are you talking about?" "A completely fabricated relationship," He said, smiling widely now. "And it doesn't even need to be long term. We can fool everyone for a few months, and then call it off amicably with no one the wiser." "A fake relationship." She blinked a few times, really thinking it over now. She would have been lying to herself if she said the idea didn't sound tempting. And it would truly annoy Ron... After a sudden, unexpected breakup with Ron, Hermione finds herself in a fake relationship with none other than Draco Malfoy, and as the ruse goes on she starts to question everything she thought she knew about herself and those around her.
