After the battle of Thaymor, both Adora and Catra are wrecks. Catra is full of bitter thought about Adora's betrayal, whilst Adora, across the Whispering Woods, is being eaten alive by guilt. In a desperate attempt to clear the air, and get rid of all the misconceptions surrounding the past few days, Adora convinces Bow to help her send Catra a message. A message that may, or may not, dictate what side of the war they end up on. I wrote this chapter after Adora, Bow, Entrapta, and Glitter saved Catra. The story takes place in the ship. It seemed to me that after that moment the dynamic between Adora and Catra changed, so I wanted to see if I could fill in some gaps.

Adora Gray is a 16-year-old female who has been obsessed with this one band called The Fright. Both of her friends Bow and Glimmer tease about it to her all the time. Adora doesn't care though. But what she really does, is simp over the lead singer, Catra Horde. ⎯⎯⎯⎯⎯⎯⎯⎯⎯⎯⎯⎯⎯⎯⎯ Catra Horde is a 17-year-old teen who is the lead singer in the band, The Fright. The band consists of Lonnie Horde, Scorpia Dawn, and Entrapta Dryl. Lonnie on bass/backup vocalist. Scorpia on drums/backup vocalist. Entrapta on the keyboard. After 4 years at a NYC Art School, Adora has moved back home to Seattle to open a local shop with her mother and to repair the broken relationships she left behind. This includes ex-best friend, Catra, who's life now consists of playing guitar in her cover band, being a loyal girlfriend to her SO and lead singer Scorpia, and hating Adora's guts. Despite their rocky past, the pair are reunited and find their emotions go deeper than once thought. It's a new year at Bright Moon Academy, a large fancy Etherian K-12 boarding school. Last year Angella the headmistress of BMA made a deal with Hordak, the headmaster of Fright Zone Academy to transfer some students to her school for the upcoming year to get a better education since she heard that it wasn't very good there. A couple new students were now attending this large fancy academy where things were bound to go wrong... This is a HS AU, there is no magic and Catra is not a cat. This is my first book so I apologize if it's bad or if there are errors. Mature, there may be sensitive topics. I will put a warning if so but not too much. This is book 1 but their second year. Catradora higschool au, Catra is joining a brand new school from having come from a bad place. Her new mother Angela takes care of her, and Catra sees her as a mother. But it all takes a turn when she meets new people. Will these people help her or hurt her? Catra is still a neko (cat girl) btw. I'll be trying to post one part every day, I'm sorry, I get writer's block a lot. But I guarantee you'll get at least one post a week, but that's just if I'm having a hard time writing.
