What he found was one of the last things he would've expected. Letters. Letters from the past. Most were from Macaque to Sun Wukong, but they were never sent. Only a few were from the Monkey King. But before MK could get a better look, Macaque just so happened to show up. During a battle, Macaque gets injured, the group does not yet trust Macaque and is still skeptical so they leave the monkey king to watch over him, not only to make sure he is well healed but also so he doesn't run off or do anything destructive. The healing process is slow and painful, it hurts to even use his power. He finds himself unable to even move from his bed some morning. On the verge of death, Sun Wukong is worried for his ex-best friend.
