This story takes place seven years after the events of ROTS. Padmé has survived childbirth and lives in secrecy on Naboo with her family. Luke and Leia are slowly growing up and are questioning the identity of their father, as well as what happened to him. The ex-senator is doing everything in her power to protect them from the truth, and from the dark power of the Galactic Empire and the Sith. But everything changes when the evil Darth Sidious's terrible apprentice named Darth Vader comes to the planet.

The year is 2034, the future, where hoverboards and tabletop tablets exist. Nina Rokhlin (Natalie Portman), infamous fugitive and hacking genius accused of stealing an ancient scribe from the President's office, is on the run, away from Alcatraz, the jail over San Fransisco Bay. She's constantly running from place to place, careful not to be caught by the officers looking for her. Jesse Andrews (Hayden Christensen) is a young man working in a car garage for a living, earning just enough money to eat and rent his small, one room apartment.
