He found himself stumbling over his words, struggling to maintain his usual confident composure. You, on the other hand, seemed unfazed by his gruff exterior and continued to engage him in conversation with genuine interest. He wasn't accustomed to matters of the heart. He had built walls around himself, keeping emotions at bay, but you had managed to breach those defenses. He tried to deny his feelings, pushing you away with his usual snarky remarks and dismissive attitude. However, you saw through his facade and confronted him about his behavior.
