Dove has only spent a week moving into her new town when she finds herself running into, quite literally, the only boy in school who is more of an asshole than she is. Her hopes of keeping up her normalcy go down the drain when an arrow lands in her yard that same afternoon, and she finds herself entering into Kevin Khatchadourian's deadly little game. It leads to far more banter and memorable moments than either of them expected, but with great amusement comes greater loss, and Dove didn't expect the boy she cared about to also be the most dangerous one she'd ever met.
