After finally finding his deep affections for Amy Rose, he must to let her go to face his royal duties. Love can't just disappear, what will happen with the two hedgehogs once Sonic leaves for his royal home? Will Amy see him again? Will they have that long shot of coming back together? After a series of intense battles, Amy begins to quietly suffer the effects of burnout, stress, and overexertion mentally and physically. Her usual spark starts to dim as she secretly pushes herself too hard, eating less, sleeping less, and distancing herself from her friends. Though she insists she's fine, her declining health becomes impossible to hide. The team begins to worry especially Sonic, who notices every crack she tries to cover.
