After finally finding his deep affections for Amy Rose, he must to let her go to face his royal duties. After a series of intense battles, Amy begins to quietly suffer the effects of burnout, stress, and overexertion mentally and physically. Her usual spark starts to dim as she secretly pushes herself too hard, eating less, sleeping less, and distancing herself from her friends. Though she insists she's fine, her declining health becomes impossible to hide. The team begins to worry especially Sonic, who notices every crack she tries to cover. Sonic goes absolutely insane under the influence of a device causing chaos among his friends including Amy.
