Tommy had lived a harsh life. His mother killed herself and his dad was arrested for abusing and attempted murder of his own son. He has lived in the orphanage for a long time, always being thrown back in after he was adopted. He would get adopted, get abused, and get thrown back into this hellhole of an orphanage with more bruises and cuts than when he left. again and again. He felt like he couldn't trust anybody but when Philza adopts Tommy into his family of 3, will he finally be able to feel safe in their household or will he distance himself waiting to be thrown back to the orphanage? Tommy had never had a true home. His parents died when he was very young, and after living with his grandparents for a few months, he had floated from foster home to foster home for his entire childhood. Sometimes he stayed for a few weeks, sometimes a few days, and one time he only lasted a few hours. Mostly, they were nice people. They just weren't ready to handle a "troublesome teenager" as he was labeled. Some, though, some used him. Some took the money given to them to care for him and pocketed it. Some refused to feed him and would hit him if he asked for food. Tommy is apart of the Royal family in L'manburg but him and his family don't get alone that well and they tend to ignore each other. When they finally talk to Tommy it's about the upcoming war and his farther tells him something he can not believe. This is my first book and if you gave any tips please say.
