Kayla, is what you would call a bookworm. You never see her without a book, but she doesn't read aloud, because she's a Silvertongue. But one day, she reads herself into another world.

When Willow dies under weird circumstances she wakes up in middle earth. The last thing she can remember is a hospital bed so waking up on soft grass with four hobbits staring at her was quite the shock. They lead her to Lord Elrond and Gandalf in hopes of them being able to help only to discover that Gandalf was Willow's grandfather in the other world. Soon it's made apparent that it is no accident that sent her to middle earth, a certain egg making it even more clear. Willow has to fight to survive everyone that wants to cause her and her newly found friends harm in a world she knows very little about. And a few men seemingly captivated by her doesn't exactly make it easier.... (i do not own Lord of the rings, but i do own my oc's and the plot in my book)(Arwen and Aragorn are not in love in this book)

Finley's life is not exactly a bed of roses and so she spends her days and nights escaping into the world of fan fiction looking for a better life, a second chance having no idea that she was about to get it. He's recruiting elves from his realm and Lothlorien, but not all of them are gung-ho Legolas fans! In fact, some of them are downright resentful. He's struggling to make things work before they even reach the colony. When she meets Frodo, a friendship forms, but she is afraid of even speaking to him and his friends, especially his cousin Pippin. She is forced to accompany Frodo and Sam to Rivendell, and she doesn't know what adventure she'll be on.
