It's more girl-leaves-home-state-meets-a-boy-and-goes-through-the-worst-trauma-of-her-life story. The girl in question is me, Carter Pruitt. The home state is New York, NYC actually. The college is the University of Minnesota. And the boy? Well, we'll get to him.
