When y/n y/l/n moves into a new town and meets a group of boys, she realizes she's the only girl in the neighborhood. Y/n develops a crush on one of the boys, Benny Rodriguez, a baseball star. (slow updates) It's not that Y/N hates the sandlot boys, its just that they have never been nice her and she returned the same energy. Always being the target of the boys' teasing, she's never found them worth her time and energy. Y/N is childhood friends with Phillips and when the boys find this out and the surprising truth that a girl can play ball better than half of them, they have a lot of resentment towards her. But Benny and Smalls are on a mission to have her play with them at the sandlot even against their friends' wishes. After fights, betrayals, and the fate that one experiences when growing up, who will be by her side through it all?
