This is the updated version of DESTINY REBIRTH. 5 years after Ash's death, the ultimate Pokémon tournament is being held. All the best trainers are competing in it. A mystery masked trainer suddenly appears and intense drama unfolds. He seems to have an interest in a certain blue-eyed performer, but why? Who's the masked trainer? What's his goal? And most importantly, who'll win the tournament?

Ash and Serena. Two who have met each other before as a child in a somewhat romantic experience, even if only one of them saw it as that. Serena is an average high school girl who attends Sycamore Academy along with all her friends in the Kalos Region, also known as the Region of Love Ash has returned from Unova to discover that he'll be moving to school in the Kalos Region along with two of his childhood friends. Ash quickly discovers old friends there including a special girl. Ash & Serena develop feelings for each other, but the gang finds just one problem on Ash's side. How will the two eventually come to term with them? A curse has been unleashed upon the world, and it slowly begins to shift away from Pokémon. How will Ash & Serena adjust?

Ash Ketchum, with Pikachu and the rest of his Kalos team (except for Goodra & Greninja), return home to Pallet Town, where his former travelling companions and rivals are already waiting for him. Some tell him to give up on his dream on becoming the Pokemon Master while others stay by his side. What will happen to Ash when some of his friends and rivals betray him? Read on to find out. Some of the movesets of each trainer's Pokemon will be different to what it was last seen in the Pokemon Anime. Aside from the mainstream anime characters in the story, the game character Calem and maybe a few other game/manga characters will also be included. This is my first fanfiction story, and sorry if I get any Pokemon information wrong, so feel free to correct me as well as commenting on where I can improve. Hope you enjoy.
