Since he was born, Kai has loved the sights of his home village. One day when Kai is three years old, Kai is diagnosed with Glaucoma. At the age of six, Kai is fully blind. His sister Nya is very protective over hem cause Kai is bullied. When Kai meets the ninja, he keeps his blindness to hem self and wares color contacts to hide. Will Kai learn to rely on his fellow ninja or, will he be alone in his blind world.

Little crims like robberies and kidnappings sprinkle the land, but it's nothing the Ninja can't handle. At least, until the government, tricked by a new evil mastermind, deem Ninja activity illegal and ban all Ninja from New Ninjago City. Now the ninja must live in villages not far outside the city; they are forced to adopt civilian identities and live quiet lives. Cole, itching to get back into action, get's a chance when a mysterious figure calls the Black Ninja to an island for help.

I could see now that the darkness had finally spread into Kai's heart. "Kai...don't do this." I pleaded. Kai slams me against the wall and puts his sword to my neck. "You did this to me Lloyd! You ruined everything! But I could care less about what the others think of me anymore. Because the only thing I want is to take my revenge on all of you. Starting with you Lloyd." -------- When Kai and Lloyd were training, Lloyd accidentally hits Kai's sword over the monastery wall. Kai jumps over the wall and finds his sword in the bushes but gets bitten by the same snake that turned Garmondon evil. Kai knowing there isn't an antidote for this snake bite must try to hide this from the others. But how can he hide something that runs through his veins?

All of the team is gone and Kai Smith blames himself, he feels that if he had gone to the grand opening of a new restaurant then they would still be alive. As the last Ninja standing Ninjago is expecting him to fight alone, but this broken Ninja has given up fighting. The ninja lose Kai in season 3 in an incident of a ginormous explosion . They are sad , a new ninja joins the team to replace Kai , but they didn't know one thing... their old friend is still out there... half demon... half dead... In going to give some credit to @SHeeBA444 , her story gave me an idea for this story .

What happens when our beloved fire ninja has an accident during a mission and goes missing, but with a different appearance? How do the ninja deal with this small flame, child, and fiery friend? It's been years since the Ninjago city flooding and Cole feels like he's nearly ready to just settle in and watch his kids grow up safe and sound with the love of his life by his side. Sadly though the past starts coming back to bite them and Cole's scared about what that's going to mean for his kids, especially his sweet little girl.
