After a night of wonder under flowers and fireworks, Penelope Featherington thought she was on top of the world. Things seemed to go perfectly for once in her life. Until, her best friend discovers something she's been hiding for years. And to top it all off she overhears a conversation she was never meant to hear. And for the first time in her life Penelope truly feels like she's alone in the world. Penelope must look inside herself and decide once and for all if she will continue her usual wallflower ways or if it's time for her to step into the spotlight and claim the life she has always dreamed of having. Colin Bridgerton was, in his own estimation, perfectly happy being single. He enjoyed the occasional dance with the beautiful debutantes and his charming ways lead him to be quite a flirt. However he knew deep down it meant nothing. He was not in search of a wife, in fact he wasn't even ready to entertain the idea of finding one. He did however find himself involved in a rather deep and genuine friendship with one, Miss Penelope Featherington. But when his own foolish remarks threaten to ruin there relationship forever, he must decide whether he can let her go or if there is maybe something he hadn't seen in her before. Could Prince Charming (or rather Mr. Charming) truly set aside his rakish ways for one wallflower? Or will the secrets she's hiding tear them even farther apart? Penelope captures the eye of a perverted old duke. With her father dead, her family is forcing her to marry. Eloise is heartbroken for her best friend and decides to intervene. This story is based on the book and the show of Bridgerton Season 3 (Polin). It's a little different when it comes to the story line I changed it a bit and create some new characters. Violet didn't continued when she notices Prudence was the only one with Portia. Violet was about to ask where is Penelope. "Where is Penelope, Ms. Featherington?." Portia showed a confused look. "I thought you knew since you and Eloise are friends with her." Colin sigh remembering Penelope didn't reply to any of his letters and Eloise just look down after hearing the word friend. "Know what?" Colin's voice got a little bit higher that before. "Penelope is staying in Ireland. She's not here for the season. Her aunt will be helping her to find a love match there so, she might never comeback." Colin don't know what to react first the fact that Penelope isn't going back or Penelope is finding a love match in Dublin so far away from him. "What?!" Colin and Eloise both said.

(Takes place after the events of season two) "Ah, Are you mad", Colin responds, "I would never dream of courting Penelope Featherington, not in your wildest fantasies, Fife" --- Dearest gentle reader, It seems that much is to happen this wonderful new season. The beautiful debutante's are all ready with as much eagerness as that of a lion that spots prey. Something tells me this season will be like no other and that I will have much to discuss with the people of the ton. --- Penelope is determined to find a husband. A husband that cares for her needs. A practical and a much needed match. She is also determined to stay far away from a Mr. Colin Bridgerton. When Mr. Bridgerton sees her coldness, he makes it his mission to once again get in Pen's good graces. Both Pen and Colin are determined.
