Titans attacked and Jean found "Marco" dead. What Jean didn't know was that Marco was actually alive... He was saved by Annie, but had a serious accident. Marco seeked medical attention but had a long recovery ahead of him. Jean missed his friend, and wished he would of been able to say a few things to his friend before he left, and to tell Marco how he had loved him. Marco constantly missed his friend and wished he would have told Jean he loved him too, but the company of a little boy is enough for his sore heart. And once Marco's all better, him and Jean have a sweet and loving reunion... A story about a promise made, and a promise kept...

Marco loved him when they first met on that cold, autumn day. Marco always loved him, but was too scared to admit it... Too scared of his new best friend becoming his new worst enemy. Jean was never sure of anything in his life, but could the thing that seemed utterly wrong be totally and completely right? Jean started falling in love with the freckled boy, but frightened for all the same reasons plus worried of what his mother would think, he never confessed. If either confesses, well it's hard to say... If everything will be alright...
