They do everything together, from eating to talking, even to sleeping at the same time. But one day, something bad happens.... Jennifer gets in a horrible accident, and Mikey is at fault for it. Caroline Hood was the girl no one really thought about. She had her own personal bubble, & most people tended to stay away from it. The accident caused her to stop talking to all of her friends, anyway. Whenever someone would bring it up, she would just immediately shut them out of her life & never talk to them again. Her general schedule now was always school, home, homework, Volleyball. It was all she had left. Reading and music kept her alive. She had nothing else to live for except that. With no friends at school, she never had weekend plans except babysitting and volleyball. She's hoping for a new change, somewhere. Someday. But then, Caroline's neighbors, the only people she counted as friends (ages 3, 5, & 28) were moving across the country. They're the only other people she talks to, & Caroline is devastated. She's pushed even farther away from everyone, but Caroline never could've predicted how much her new neighbors would mean to her.
