Amidst escalating Chinese aggression in the Pacific, Japan and the United States maintained their strong alliance, fully aware of the looming possibility of Taiwan facing an invasion. Japan, having emerged as an economic powerhouse in the Pacific after the Japanese Civil War and World War II, was viewed by China as a major obstacle to its expansionist ambitions. With Article 9 no longer in effect, recent developments indicated Japan's unwavering determination to defend Taiwan. The Japanese government considered their fleet of four carriers crucial in this regard. However, unforeseen circumstances would soon engulf Japan and the United States, transporting them to a world where magic, war, and dragons held fundamental significance. Embracing their new reality, Japan and the United States forged a fresh coalition, leveraging their influence and steadfast principles in this unfamiliar realm. In light of agreed-upon arrangements, the two nations embarked on a joint expeditionary force to explore the new world, fully aware that the likelihood of this world aligning with their coalition was slim. As they beheld the new world, Japan and America encountered conflicts and ongoing wars that surpassed the brutality of their previous reality. They navigated this unfamiliar land, seeking to establish themselves as influential entities. The new world would soon have the opportunity to learn from the experiences and ideals of Japan and America. Based on the series 'Nihonkoku Shoukan.' The story is now available on Scribble Hub and Royal Road. FREE STORY WITH EXCLUSIVE CONTENT. This is *not* a Paid Story. Eighteen-year-old hockey prodigy Elliot Wexler has three goals for senior year. One: somehow graduate with a 3.5 GPA. Two: hide his bipolar disorder from his peers. And three: make it into the NHL with no scandals. Piece of cake. What he doesn't expect is to find Lucy, a homeless girl, hiding from the winter frost in his dad's shed. Elliot's busy, complicated life doesn't permit room for error, and falling in love with a girl from a totally different world sounds like the opposite of a good idea. But Elliot can't help but be drawn to Lucy and her elusive ways--even when she seems to vanish from his life non-stop, each time leaving him with a bigger hole in his heart. But Elliot is determined to break down Lucy's barriers. And when he does, he discovers that her life is more complicated--and dangerous--than he could have imagined. With drafting season approaching, and Elliot's fragile mental health deteriorating, he's forced to face a difficult question: Is first love supposed to hurt so much? *** PLEASE DO NOT ADD THIS STORY TO GOODREADS.

Nineteen Eighty-Four, often published as 1984, is a dystopian novel published in 1949 by English author George Orwell. The novel is set in Airstrip One, formerly Great Britain, a province of the superstate Oceania, whose residents are victims of perpetual war, omnipresent government surveillance and public manipulation. Oceania's political ideology, euphemistically named English Socialism (shortened to "Ingsoc" in Newspeak, the government's invented language that will replace English or Oldspeak) is enforced by the privileged, elite Inner Party. Via the "Thought Police", the Inner Party persecutes individualism and independent thinking, which are regarded as "thoughtcrimes".
