When Ruby runs away from home she is brought back by her older sister who then turns her over to their parents. Deciding it would be best to get her act together, they send her to a school for others just like her, the Salvatore School. Ruby is sent to this school along with her two best friends, Ayame, who is a witch, and Hugo, who is a werewolf. The three of them enter the school expecting their year to fly by and for them to go back to how they used to be. But when Ruby runs into a certain tribrid, she falls head over heels and swears she'll make the girl hers.
