After the war with afo Izuku had no idea how it started since he was in a coma when it happened but one thing is for sure the world he knew before was no longer. The undead started to rise and many villains, heros, and civilians were killed mauled or ripped apart by the dead. When this happened Nezu activated UA's defense system with the last remaining people left of humanity. Everyone thought Izuku died that day when everything went down because he was in the back of an ambulance van that was secured off from the outside so nothing will get to him. As he travels around he notices civilians moving around weirdly and making strange sounds but when he gets close enough he sees that their bodies had flesh torn off, showing bones and other things missing as he comes to the realization that the civilians are dead and walking. He has one thing in mind get back to UA and find out what's happening and to explain why he has a bite mark on his arm.
