Maria and Georg grew up together, best friends since primary school, but years, marriages, children, and miles have separated them. Now Maria, the mother of two, has accepted a teaching position back in her hometown of Salzburg, not only to help herself but to help her friend Captain von Trapp get back on his feet after his wife's passing. Ever since they were children obstacles have made them fight for their friendship but how far can they go without fighting for something more?
