After receiving message from an unknown number she heads out to find the missing person gave her boyfriend her number. With lots of secrets and hiding her real identity... she works with some new faces to find a missing girl hannah... will she be able to find her? will she able to hide her own self?? This story is inspired by a game called duskwood... A characters are reserved by Everbyte... A few are just mine...

"It may seem like any place. Cold, monotonous. But can you imagine what lurks deep in the forest of the town of mysteries? Coincidence, fate?" Vanysh Webster just moved to Duskwood, a small town that doesn't seem to be any special, but that is until a stranger, from this same town, calls her claiming to have received a message from his missing girlfriend, which contained nothing but her number. Intrigued by the events and even people related to it, she decides to enter the case and find this girl, which leads her to paths deeper than anyone could ever imagine. !!!!Brief explanation: As some of you might have noticed, the story is based on the game "Duskwood", which means the main ideas, story and characters ARE NOT mine (except for Vanysh and some others). So, the general credits belongs to everbyte and all of their creators. Another important thing is: some things that will happen are the same from the game's original story, but other's were invented by me. My intention is to give the story another perspective besides the "Main Character" that we interpret while playing (And I started writing this before chapter 9 was released). *The portuguese version can be found at my profile*

Hi this is my first time writing a story. It's a story about Jake from Duskwood and female reader. It will be different from the game. There will be some character from Duskwood. I know that will not be the best story, but I hope that you will like it and I will try my best. And my first language it's not English so I am sorry if I write something wrong.

Jake's Prov: Honestly I just wanted to make her jealous so I asked Jessica to dance. Now I'm dancing with Jessica. I received a message and it was Dan. Dan: How dare you!! Jake: What did I do? Dan: Don't act in front of me. Jake: Or else what you gonna do? Dan: Wait and watch. With that he stopped texting me. I was still dancing with Jessica, suddenly I noticed that phil is coming towards MC. What? Why? Phil: May I dance with you. MC: Phil! You scared me. Don't you have work? Phil: I can manage. MC: It's ok you don't have to manage your work for me. They are talking something I can't listen from here. Wait why is he lenning towards her? Phil: You know na I know about your little secret. MC is staring at him, again why? Phil handed his hand forword, MC looked at him few seconds then took it. Took it!?? . . . . . The story continues after (YN) receives the video from Jake who told her about half of his identity to consider. After learning the truth, she started working with Lilly to find Hannah and help to cover and mislead the government to the possible whereabouts of Jake using the movement Lilly made. In additional, (YN) will discover more than about this case, not just about Hannah but the crimes of the past where she encountered years ago. However, the connection about Jake and (YN) to each other; will they give each other the chance despite the danger they will face and the fact that they are a totally different in terms of their identity? Are their connection is just about the sake of this case and will separate after or they will plan something for themselves? They cannot risk at this moment, but they cannot even stop how they feel for each other. They exchange the compliment of fascination yet one side is denial. If one keeps on denying, it will open an opportunity to someone who developed a real care for (YN). After her mother passed away a week later, MC returned to her home and left the hectic city life. She discovered an old hand phone inside her mother's desk while cleaning the house, but it was empty. She was suddenly interrupted by a call on that hand phone. Thomas asked her if she knew where Hannah, his girlfriend, was since he had gotten a message from her with a phone number. She has been joined to a group chat with Hannah's friends and family while she is still perplexed. After all the commotion from the group chat, a hacker by the name of Jake got in touch with her. He asks for MC's assistance in finding Hannah, and MC must comply because she has no other option. The more information the MC learned about Hannah and the others while looking for clues, Jake and MC thought one of Hannah's friends was responsible for Hannah's disappearance. Then, MC learned about the man without a face, legendary Duskwood creature; he leaves a raven's mark on the doors of the worst sinners. Each year, on the night of the first new moon, he returns to the houses he has marked, drags anybody inside-guilty or not-out into the forest, never to be seen again. MC initially refused to believe in paranormal phenomena, but as time went on, inexplicable catastrophes began to occur. The faceless individual attacked Jessy, threatened Cleo's mother in a letter, and painted a red raven symbol on Richy's garage. Jake and MC continue their investigation into Hannah's disappearance because it appears that no harm has been done until Richy was attacked by the man without a face in the woods and was bleeding. What will MC do after that?
