Finn has always had feelings for PB. One day the Ice king kidnaps PB so Finn asks Marceline for help. Finn spends so much time with Marceline as they try to find PB that Finn soon discovers that maybe Marceline has been his one true love.

In this story Finn has been gone for 5 years and when he returns he has an incurable sickness and the young hero is dying. Marceline feels obligated to take care of the hero, until feelings start to bubble up. How will loving the dying hero tear apart Marceline or could she save him?
