IN THE MIDDLE OF A WAR, THE LAST THING THEY NEED IS SOMEONE SPREADING THE ENEMY AGENDA. When Lady Kuroki's esteemed students are dispatched to a house party in a faraway manor to root out a potential Meliquean spy, Lady Asteria Lu isn't sure what to expect. The guests are powerful and eccentric, but none of them seem traitorous. Besides, her friends are distracted: Danna by a fate she could no longer run from, Io by the only boy who'd ever seen through her cover. So a mess, really. Then comes a soldier who clearly knew more than he was pretending to, constantly getting in her way. Coincidence, or is he the very agent she's searching for? Maximilian Harlande's life was a good deal simpler before he became a spy. Certainly, back then, he wouldn't be caught dead running around a house party with a Novokulugan agent attached to his hip. But he has a mission to complete, and the cunning Lady Asteria Lu refuses to let him do his job in peace. Fine. So be it. May the best spy win. NOTE: I AM NO LONGER CONTINUING TO WRITE THIS BOOK. This is because I feel uncomfortable taking spells that other people created without being absolutely certain that I have permission to take them - and I do not currently have time to message every single author I find to ask for permission. Furthermore, I'm not experienced enough to create spells of my own. For now, I am leaving the existing chapters of the book here for everyone to read, but in the future it's possible I'll delete the entire book. Spells gathered from various sources into one, handy reference book. Clear and simple instructions. A great book to all witches. Sources are provided at the end of each chapter. If you were not credited properly or you'd like your creation removed from the book, let me know.

Love the creepy side of Japan? On the surface, all that people hear about Japan is their rich culture, and how weird some of their customs and inventions are. But aside from that, there is a darker side of Japan, including their unsettling urban legends. From different colored toilet paper to a poem that might curse you, this book will show you many of their urban legends are odd and downright creepy. And trust me, they will also show you yet another example of how weird Japan is. Oh, Japan... how I love you so much. The cover art is by an artist named Takato Yamamoto.
