"Me before her" is an adaptation of the novel "Me before you" written by Jojo Moyes to the story of Maite and Camino. Maite Zaldúa (Ylenia Baglietto) is an artist, a successful painter who is happily married and enjoying her life to the fullest, until she ends up involved in a car accident that changes her life completely. The last few years have been an endless free fall for Maite, leading her into a dark and bitter depression, losing her zest for life and keeping everyone at arm's length with her arrogant, hostile and prickly attitude. Camino Pasamar (Aria Bedmar), a 25 year old girl with reduced ambitions, living at home with her parents, graduates as a nurse and gets her first job in one of the most renowned hospitals in Spain, however, her first patient will test her vocation and usual joy. The nurse is the opposite of what the painter had once been. However, the sparkling personality and simple character of the sweet young practitioner will not go unnoticed by Maite and soon, patient and nurse will become exactly what the other needs.
