The story takes place in high school, Arizona is a smart, Lesbian, Unpopular student. Amelia is a Popular, Closeted bisexual, Average student. The 2 opposites happen to fall in love.

When Arizona's dad is transferred to a base near Seattle, she meets Callie and they become good friends pretty quickly. Along with the rest of their friends, she and Callie navigate through junior and senior year together as best friends and hopefully as something more.

Callie and Arizona are together and happy. The new girl at Seattle Grace High School, Amelia Shepherd, quickly becomes good friends with Arizona. After time passes, Arizona and Callie are beginning to drift further away from eachother, and Arizona is starting to feel something stronger than friendship for Amelia. SO Callie and Arizna are on the same softball team. Arizona isnt like by everyone and everyone needs to warm up to her!
