An alternate retelling of Riftan and Maxi's wedding inspired by Kim Su-ji's Under the Oak Tree Riftan's POV and Under the Oak Tree book 1. Famous knight Riftan Calypse is coerced into marrying the Duke's eldest daughter, Maximillian Croix. But no one knows that he's loved her from afar, and arranged marriage or not, Riftan wants to make sure Max knows how he feels before he leaves for the dragon campaign.

Maximilian Criox is content with her small shop as she treats and cares for others alike. Her normal routine is shaken when a beast of a man comes looking for help.
