Allie Bradstone didn't exactly have what you would call a normal child hood. Neither would most kids if they had a highly-functioning Sociopath, Private Detective as a mother. Though, it did come in handy when solving the murder of her husband, but that's another story. Needless to say, Allie has always had a bit of a unique perception when it comes to...everything. She's a very observant person, thanks to the harsh teachings of her mother. She never planned on using this talent for anything useful...well, until she moved to Santa Barbra. After calling in various tips from deductions she made from news reports, she is called in to the SBPD, and accused of being an accessory to the crimes she called in. This might have been slightly less believable, if there hadn't been a man making the exact same calls. Scrambling not to get arrested by a jerky detective, One Shawn Spencer bails them both out with more clever deductions...passing them off as psychic visions. And so, the SBPD hires not one phsycic, but two...and man... Here's where things get complicated.

The head detective of Santa Barbara police department isn't as grumpy as everybody thinks. He is in love with the psychic and they have to face obstacles just like any other couple does.

~Short Story~ Sam and Dean have seen it all. Ghosts, vampires, werewolves, gods and goddesses, witches, demons. If it bleeds, they've killed it. Their next hunt starts off as normal as any hunt they've ever been on-with evidence of a ghost attack. Upon arriving at the crime scene, however, Sam and Dean meet two people who turn their world upside down. Again. Shawn and Gus have also seen it all. They've solved so many crimes, they've lost count. But after a nice dinner ends in catastrophe, Shawn and Gus must face the fact that maybe it isn't always so easy to explain. Especially when two people show up who they thought didn't really exist. What will happen when two hunters work with two "psychics?"

Shawn gets kidnapped in the episode "Shawn Takes A Shot In The Dark", and he gets rescued, right? But here's a twist. When Rollins and Longmore come up with an elaborate plan, he has no choice but to listen. Or someone is going to get hurt. Published on PsychFic as well.
