Aurora, one of Inkopolis's numerous octoling immigrants, enjoys flinging ink out on the town with her ragtag group of misfit friends. As a socially inept octoling stumbling through an inkling's world, Aurora grapples with a dilemma when she falls head-over-tentacles for a stylish and apathetic inkling boy...just days before her very first Splatfest. However...there's a saying among her kind. One that she can never seem to stop hearing. "Octolings aren't supposed to date inklings." Keep an eye out for language, sexual themes (later on) and drug use!

5 years has passed since the Great Chroma War and the fall of the Overlords. Kai decides to move to the Splatlands to start his "normal" life. Until he has been chosen to become the new Agent 3, he would discover where the old legends have gone to and perhaps carry a new generation

After facing the struggles the Deepsea Metro, Nova now found himself on the surface. More specifically, Inkopolis. With Agent 3 making the decision of taking 8 under her wing, their friendship begins. However, 8 notes the seriousness that 3 wields, yet is determined to pursue their friendship. However, it is clear to Nova that while Inkopolis as a whole was amazing in his eyes, it is clear that he's not particularly welcomed with the rest of the inklings. With a city new to the octoling, comes a new life, and with that, new struggles. That isn't to say that newfound feelings aren't included... How will Agent 8 come to deal with these new challenges?
