What if Tanjiro had a natural demon slayer mark he was born with? What if that mark didn't give him incredible strength, speed, or agility, but did something else? What if Yorrichi hid his blade in a cave on the highest peak of the Kamado family's mountain? What if Tanjiro learned the Hinokami Kagura from a young age? Those are questions we don't know the answer to. The timeline is a strange thing. Just one change could alter the fate of humanity. So what would happen if all those questions came to fruition?

After three years of fighting within the Demon Slaying Corp., Tanjirou watched victories, as well as failures. He watched the Hashira's retire one by one, and new ones stand in front to take up their legacy. Including himself. And his role as the new Water Hashira came with far greater responsibilities, and he was determined to carry them all like the previous leaders did.
