Drayk Alio couldn't be happier. He has good friends, a pretty nice job, and an amazing brother who he can confide in. His life is just a smooth ride with no bumps, no blips, no nothing. Things couldn't get any better. Until someone new is added to his group. Instantly a hit with his friends, the arrival captivates Drayk and he finds himself giving her more attention than he'd like. The only problem is that his brother is under the same spell. Caught between two people he loves, Drayk is desperate to find a way to have both. Even if it means going behind his brother's back. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Heyo! Maria (aka the author of this story) speaking. This story is meant to be bonus content for my novel called "Genesis". So, I highly advise reading Genesis first before delving into this. On another note, this story is going to have a more romance-based theme than Genesis, so beware if you're not into reading that sort of thing. Of course, there will still be some good, old-fashioned Genesis action in this story. I mean, I can't just write a fully romance story, that would be a snooze wouldn't it? Anyways, I'd love to hear any feedback you have for me on this story! And, as always, happy reading!

BEING REWRITTEN THIS IS THE OLD VERSION You haven't learnt anything until you learn monsters have nightmares too. Paint me as a villain and call me a monster but I am the architect of my own destruction and that will forever remain engraved inside me. -------------------------- "We need to get you home" he says attempting to keep me standing. "No" I groan, "you just don't understand" He rolls his eyes asking "understand what darling?" "I am home" I giggle before hiccuping "you are my home" -------------------------- This story consists of a badass main character but not in the cringey way, just give this story a go. It has a mixture of drama, love, forgery, murder, assassins, mafias, betrayal, lies and secrets.

"Take my hand," he shouts, dropping his gun and extending his arm towards me. "Never in a million years," I snap, trying to steady myself as I feel my grip slowly slipping at the edge. "Look here, Solace, I'm trying to save your life, not asking you to marry me," he tries again. Knowing that I don't really have another option, I grab onto his arm, finding a foothold at last as he hauls me upwards. I bump into him and his arms snake around my waist, helping me regain my balance. "The word your brain is searching for is 'thank you'," an arrogant smirk forms on his lips. "You wish," I remark, trying to push past him. "Fine, just know you asked for it. I usually like repayment of my deeds," he says, before smashing his lips onto mine. -×- Clove Solace, a FBI surveillance investigator, is someone you don't wanna mess with. She's smart, short-tempered and a strategist, just about everything you can't handle. But that's before she meets Zach, a person she was totally not planning to bump into. Being the Head Field Agent of the case they're working on, he may not be very friendly but there are mysteries hiding under that quirky sense of humour we fall in love with. Sounds like your typical romance novel? Believe me, this is nothing like that. Just a crime thriller with a touch of angsty romance, as you discover the true sides of each person and slowly fall in love with the members of the team. But that's until everything goes wrong, and maybe all stories don't have a very happy ending. This one does though, and you'll see how. It's not a rule that agents are not supposed to engage in any romantic relationships while working on a case. However, it's not exactly something which the management department supports and as time passes, our partners in crime find it difficult to maintain their perfect reputation. Jealous best friends, sisters in love and an unknown spy? We've a long journey to embark on before this story gets over... (Status: On Hold) -×-
