During a walk outside in the woods at midnight, Muichiro and Nezuko encounter 2 demons. After defeating them, both are covered in blood, excluding Nezuko, who has healed. They decide to head back. But before they can even get two steps away, Muichiro suffers a sudden transformation into a demon. (it wasn't the demons' blood, it was Nezuko's). Nezuko is desperate to keep Muichiro away from the Hashiras and other Demon Hunters. But it's not long before the Hashiras find out...

Who would've thought that the Mist Pillar would had fallen for a demon girl of all people. He couldn't explain it like most things. Keeping his feelings bottled up wasn't good and he knew it but he couldn't let them out. Then that demon girl came and suddenly he felt different. Different about himself and nearly everything. The mist pillar had amnesia and couldn't remember most people's names but he suddenly could remember the demons? It just made no sense to him. He couldn't have loved a demon...could he?

The moment everything changed was the moment Doma felt something within him. His chest was not hollow - his heart was not still... not anymore. Something in him stirred and he felt a small twinge of his lungs, filling him with foreign warmth. Suddenly, the world was vibrant, and at the center of it was her. She was called Kotoha, a young woman with dark hair, deep beautiful eyes, and a truly lilting voice that seemed to soothe the heavens in its softness. Doma was transfixed. The baby in her arms suddenly didn't seem so annoying in its cooing and her smile didn't seem fake as he assumed most were. The day everything changed was the day Doma smiled for the first time.
