For Levi, it's always been hard to fall in love. He was cynical, a pessimist. Whenever he felt something romantic for someone, he pushed them away, saying it was just attraction, not letting it develop into anything more. But someone flew under the radar. Levi's always found Light to be adorable, he couldn't pinpoint when his feelings began to evolve from platonic to romantic. All he knew is that he was too far gone and too late to push him away. And unfortunately, Light would never feel the same. Levi couldn't tell a soul about how much he yearning for Light, so when his desires started catching up to him, affecting how he talked to people, he had enough. To cope, he began to write in the diary his best friend, Alex, gave to him as a joke. He can never have what he wants the most, and yet he can't look away from it either. Levi was trapped in unrequited love, and he couldn't escape. ------------- This book mentions self-harm, depressing thoughts, and suicide.
