One of the oldest viruses out there, hackers claim it is impossible to eliminate, and many have tried. Many more have taken the virus and used it against their enemies, against corporations and governments, against fellow hackers and spies. No matter where it is sent, no matter who it targets, the virus known as The Blade leaves nothing behind. One hacker has not yet been tested against it. Ph1LzA Min3crAft has spent many years in the computer world, learning its language and all the delicate intricacies of its functions. In this open, strange world of ones and zeroes, of precise commands and exacting standards, Ph1LzA is regarded as king. So when the virus resurfaces, he is called in to destroy it once and for all. But Ph1LzA doesn't work like other hackers. He's more curious, more interested in learning why the virus is out here in the first place, why it too behaves differently than any other piece of code he's ever seen. Why it almost seems alive...

Emeraldduo AU again :D This is kind of a mix between the movie 'Castle in the sky' and Phil's lore for Sky City in his Season 2 hardcore world. I'll be taking a lot of inspiration from both of those, so maybe check an old hardcore video from Phil or maybe watch the movie, if you're interested :) Phil is a winged person born and raised on a floating island in the sky and Techno is a regular human born on the ground that now works on an airship. For the past 2000 years or so, the humans on Earth had biologically evolved, presumably adapting to changing genes from viruses that crushed many of their own. In that defense, they changed to fit into their new world, where all had produced the abilities that had called 'quirks'. Technoblade had been interested in the history of quirks, but never had the inch of interest in the quirks themselves. I mean, how could he? They were overrated, absolutely lame, and most of all, completely unnecessary. He'd know. How? He'd been kicking ass without them.

"I understand. You heard the place you loved was in trouble, so you came back, but I don't-I just-why didn't you take me?" Here it was, at last. Catharsis, or something close to it. "I would have hunted them down with you, Philza, the people who did that to your town. I would have given you your vengeance on a silver platter. I would have given you the world." Philza didn't look guilty. He just looked tired. "I didn't hunt them down, though." // Or, that fic where Techno and Phil are old immortals, and Tommy and Wilbur are decidedly... not. He managed to capture the most rare and dangerous species without much trouble, so of course he didnt think twice when accepting a challenge to capture a one of a kind hybrid that has been spotted in the nearby forests. No other hunter ever managed to catch it, let alone get even close enough to get a good look. So the description of this hybrid is different, depending on who you are asking. Only one thing always stays the same: The hybrid has large, midnight black wings. Who knew this decision to accept the hunting challenge would change his life forever.

In a world infested with supernatural abilities, it only seems that bad always finds itself crawling into unexpected areas.
