After everything that happened with her dad and Carina and Jack, Maya decides she needs to go to therapy if she is ever going to be able to make it work with Carina. This story looks pretty deeply at serious topics such as anxiety, depression, suicidal thoughts and action, and self-harm. If those things are triggering to you, please do not read.

Running is what Maya has always been good at, whether it be for exercise or from her pain. It's the knowing when to stop part that always gets her into trouble. Maya is struggling to adapt to her new role as Captain of Station 19. Will she be able to keep her declining mental health a secret, or will it all fall apart? There may or may not be some mentions of heavy drinking, reckless behavior/self-harm and disordered eating patterns. I do not own any of these characters, merely just fanfiction.
