After five years in cryosleep, Hope Wilson awakens aboard a spacecraft bound for Pandora, disoriented and immediately singled out as an anomaly. Unlike the other soldiers and scientists, Hope possesses no human body, only an Avatar. Trained entirely on Earth through an unprecedented and lethal program, she represents a new era of Avatar experimentation, one that eliminates the spiritual connection to Eywa in favor of cold human control.
Raised by the stories of her pioneering parents, who were among the Avatar scientists who once lived peacefully among the Na'vi, Hope was immersed in Na'vi language, culture, and tradition from a young age. Her parents' lives were cut short when tensions escalated after Jake Sully's betrayal of humanity, leading to their murder by a vengeful clan. Their deaths forged Hope's purpose.
Now fully embedded in her Avatar identity known among the Na'vi as TsΓlpey Te KΓpΓ€'il, Hope arrives on Pandora with a single goal: Revenge. Armed with elite training and years of suppressed rage, she intends to hunt down Jake Sully and destroy everything he holds dear, even if it means becoming something neither human nor Na'vi.
