Wilbur was surprised that he noticed such a small thing, but he supposed it accounted for the surprise that he had noticed earlier. 'Oh, I prefer Wilbur if that's okay sir. He replied, choosing to ignore the feeling of anxiety at the realisation that was the most he had talked throughout their meeting. 'Alright mate. Oh, and please call me Phil. Sir makes me sound older than I actually am.' OR A fluff to angst to fluff adoption AU where Wilbur Soot gets adopted into the SBI household just before his 18th birthday after years in the foster system. Now, he must learn how to trust his newfound family and find that it's okay to be dependent on others. But after so many years of only relying on only himself, Wilbur struggles to do that. After all, can a story ever be that simple? Trigger warnings are at the top of each chapter. There aren't many but check them out anyway. Tommy's two older brothers were already with other families who would take care of them. It was up to Philza and Kristen, Tommy's parents, to find him a home. They asked friends and family, but none would take him in. He was a new born. No one wanted a new born. They were about to give up until Philza remembered a old friend. A friend who was married to two other men. He was hoping that they could taken in their baby until he and his wife could come back. Tommy dies. He meets Kristin in the inbetween. She expresses her somber and love for him. She promises him that he'll get another chance, another life. Tommy sees Wilbur and Schlatt once more before he leaves. Tommy meets Technoblade in the past, and shields him from hybrid hunters. Tommy wakes up. But something is off. He lives in a cottage alone on an island quite close to a village, separated from the townspeople by a small rift of water, bound by a single, rickety bridge. His kind is seen as a hindrance, and is heavily looked down upon, even hunted. People saw him as sinner, satanist or warlock. In truth, he was neither. His life takes a large U-turn when he meets a fae in the woods nearby his cottage, and said fae becomes his friend. The fae attempted various times to get the witch's full name, but the witch was too stubborn. They eventually bond, and become friends. One day Tommy finally trusts the fae with his real name. Either it was a mistake or a good decision, he can't decide.

Bees followed him everywhere and adored him. They enjoyed his presence and technically were the 'insect paparazzi'. Tommy had a passion stronger than fire for gardening and flowers, and enjoyed every aspect of his job. The only downside is that it gets lonely sometimes. Until, new friends brought him light wrapped in a bouquet.
