Kaito killed shuichi because they both wanted to leave the killing game, so kaito suggested that they should commit a murder so, the mastermind behind the game can confess. but, of course, things don't always go as planned. shuichi's death was the same as kokichi's. Got shot, and crushed. Maki ended up finding out the truth due to a mistake they made on accident. They forgot that the press doesn't stop at one place, and immediately smash whatever is there. They all found out about kaito's disease, and he got executed. Kokichi found out the mastermind, and kiibo ended up blowing up the place. What happened to Kokichi, Maki, and himiko? That's what we need to find out (?)
